The Lokal began as a passion project built on a simple idea: create a place where people could relax, connect, and enjoy good food in a beautiful setting.
Nestled in Lipayo, Dauin, The Lokal first opened as a food and beer garden, offering a welcoming space for locals, travellers, and divers to gather. With its unique open air design, handcrafted details, and relaxed atmosphere, it quickly became known as a place identified by its character, warmth, and soul.
Our concept is always growing and we are now a boutique hotel that seeks to combine the comfort of quality accommodation with the same hospitality and personal touch that defined us from the beginning. As such our core values remain unchanged: genuine hospitality, thoughtful design, comfort, and the creation of memorable experiences.
